This stream permits the applicant of the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) in the Business Innovation stream or the Business Innovation Extension stream, or holders of a subclass 444 visa, or certain holders of a subclass 457 (Business (Long Stay) visa, stay permanently.

Entrepreneur stream
Successful applicants for the provisional Business visa (subclass 188) in the Entrepreneur stream are able to proceed to the permanent 888 visa.

Successful applicants for the provisional Business visa (subclass 188) in the Investor stream are able to continue their investment activities in Australia permanently.

Significant investor stream
Significant Investor stream enable investors who had been granted an 188 provisional visa in the Significant Investor stream to proceed to permanent residence.

Premium investor stream
Applicants granted the provisional (188) visa in the Premium Investor stream are provided an even more relaxed criteria in relation to residence requirements in Australia in that they are not required to be in Australia for any period of residence.
